Benjamin Disraeli said “As a general rule, the most successful man in life is the man who has the best information.” When playing golf you need all the information you can get about the course, your clubs, your swing, distances and so much more in order to play well. As long as I have played, I always wanted more information, not only about the course, but some of the complexities and intricacies of the course so I could play physically and mentally better.
Many golfers watch the Pros play just as I did and still do, but I always wondered, why don’t amateur golfers have that same information in our back pocket that the Pros have in their yardage books; That was my inspiration for “Your Yardage Book”; to have the information needed about the course, the greens and my clubs for me to play better; and now I want all golfers to have this same opportunity.
Your Yardage Book” gives the golfer the opportunity to continue to build an intimate understanding of the course by allowing the golfer to map out the fairways, hazards and greens from their own perspective, knowledge and mentality. The golfer knows with crystal clarity the exact spots on the course that give them the best opportunity to realize their best scores.
Your Yardage Book” begins to let the golfer play the course from a completely different perspective! Perspective is the edge that causes improvement in any field of endeavor and that is especially true on the golf course. Even when shots don’t go as planned, with “Your Yardage Book” the golfer has the ability to identify and establish the best recovery spots on the course that will give them the capability to scramble and salvage the hole.
I hope that all golfers, new and seasoned, young and old, amateur and pro, junior leagues to collegiate, men’s and women’s clubs to private county club players will use “Your Yardage Book” and allow their game to grow, but most importantly allow their mental approach to playing shots improve to achieve their best possible scores.
